ON THE 19th NOVEMBER 1960,
The first un-tethered free-flight hover of XP831 was achieved; a week later, the first publicity photos of the Hawker P.1127 were released.
From 1976 to 1981 Harrier servicing and Mods. (See photo) took place at Bitteswell or Bagington.
